Welcome to the home page of the Department of Applied Mathematics & Statistics (AMS) at UCSC! We are part of the Jack Baskin School of Engineering and are located in the Jack Baskin and Engineering 2 Buildings in Science Hill.

• Renewable Energy Microgrid Research Workshop at NASA Ames

  UCSC Silicon Valley and the Bio-Info-Nano Research and Development Institute will host a one day research workshop focused on renewable energy micro-grids on June 5, 2009. The workshop will focus on current research in smart micro-grids and energy storage.  More
